Begin at the Threshold
Most people do not begin a deep journey by deciding where it will end.
They begin because something in them has grown restless. A sense that the life they are living is no longer the life that is being asked of them.
This work begins here.
What This Threshold Is
The Threshold is an entry into depth-oriented, experiential inquiry. It is not a commitment to a long-term path. It is not an application for mentorship. It is not a promise of transformation. It is:
A place to encounter questions already alive in you
Guided experiences rooted in land, body, and imagination
An invitation, not an obligation
A step on the journey towards deep authenticity
Some people come once. Some return seasonally. A few discover this is the beginning of something longer.
What We Do Here
Guided nature-based practices
Somatic and imaginal inquiry
Individual and small-group reflection
Practices that emphasize listening rather than fixing
Time held outside urgency, productivity, or performance
The emphasis is on direct experience, not concepts. On attention, not improvement. On relationship, not answers.
What This Is Not
This work is not therapy, coaching, or self-optimization. It does not offer quick insight, peak experiences, or guaranteed outcomes.
It is not designed to make life easier—though life may become more truthful.
How to Begin
You are invited to begin with a single, standalone experience—a workshop, immersion, or gathering that feels accessible to you.
Each experience is complete in itself. There is no expectation that you continue beyond it.
If, over time, you sense a deeper call, other pathways may open—but those are discovered through relationship, not rushed decisions.
A Note on Readiness
This work tends to find people when they are already listening.
If you feel curious but unsure, that is enough. If you feel drawn but hesitant, that often means you are near a threshold. If nothing in you responds, this may simply not be the right time.
You are welcome to trust that.

Authentic Self - An Exploration of Innate Human Wholeness (8-Week Cohort)
This warm and supportive small-group series is based on Bill Plotkin’s Wild Mind framework. We gather over the course of two, 4-week sessions, to explore together an archetypal map of the psyche. Participants should be prepared to read or listen to Wild Mind: A Field Guide to the Human Psyche over the course of our gatherings.
Our time together is a space for adults to practice their innate human wholeness; which implies that we will also begin cultivating the capacity to care for our wounded and protective strategies.
Each session includes brief teaching, time in nature, gentle imaginal exploration, and a closing circle where sharing is always optional. The emphasis is on learning through both study and lived experience. Included in your cohort are two optional mentoring sessions, either in-person or online. Mentoring is designed to support and amplify what is emerging for you at any stage in your journey.
Limited to 10 participants, 18 and older.

Men’s Work — The Way of Council
There comes a moment for many men when the life that once carried them no longer does.
Sometimes it arrives quietly: a loss of meaning, a dull ache beneath success, a growing distance from one’s own vitality. Sometimes it comes as a rupture—around partnership, fatherhood, vocation, health, or aging. What once felt solid begins to unravel. The strategies that worked in earlier adulthood no longer suffice.
This is not failure.
It is a threshold.
Men’s Council offers a sacred container for those moments—an intentional gathering where men of any age are invited to meet what is stirring beneath the surface of their lives. Whether you are entering adulthood for the first time and sensing its fragility, or standing at a later crossroads asking who you are becoming now, this work welcomes you.
We gather in the spirit of council: slowing down, speaking honestly, listening deeply. Here, men are not asked to perform, fix, or impress. Instead, we practice presence—learning to stay with what is real as it moves through us. Grief, anger, longing, fear, creativity, and strength are all given room to breathe.
This is not therapy, though it can be deeply therapeutic. It is not self-improvement, though lives change. It is a community of embodied practice—where transformational energies are allowed to move, shape, and reorient us in the company of other men.
I come to this work not as someone who has perfected his life, but as a facilitator in service to something larger: the recovery of true masculinity in the hearts of men. A masculinity rooted not in domination or withdrawal, but in integrity, humility, courage, and relationship—to self, to others, to the living world.
When men gather in this way, something ancient awakens. We remember that we are not meant to walk our initiations alone. We discover the relief of being witnessed without judgment, and the strength that comes from standing shoulder to shoulder with others navigating their own becoming.
If you feel the quiet pull of an inner threshold—if something in you knows it is time to listen more deeply—this council may be a place to begin.
Soul Mentoring & Initiatory Guidance
In Person and Online
There are moments in a life when something ancient begins to stir—quietly at first. A restlessness. A pull toward what cannot be named, only felt. Dreams grow vivid. Old identities loosen. The familiar world no longer quite fits.
This is not pathology. It is not a problem to be solved.
It is psyche calling the soul forward.
Soul mentoring is a relational, imaginal, and nature-rooted companionship for those moving toward and through this threshold. It is not therapy, and it does not replace it. Rather, it supports a terrain rarely touched in modern culture: the initiatory journey into psychological wholeness and lived soul.
In this work, we listen together—to dreams, symbols, longings, resistances, and the subtle movements of the inner world. We attend to what psyche is already doing. With the support of the natural world, mythic imagination, and the presence of Mystery itself, we amplify what is trying to be born rather than explain it away.
Mentoring unfolds as a collaboration. Not expert and client, but fellow travelers—one with experience of the underworld paths, the other courageously walking them. The muse is welcomed. The imaginal is taken seriously. Nature becomes both mirror and teacher. What emerges is guided not by productivity or self-improvement, but by meaning, depth, and truth.
This journey is rarely encouraged. Modern society is organized around adaptation, efficiency, and surface-level wellness. Soul initiation, by contrast, asks us to descend, to unlearn, to be undone in places. It can feel disorienting, lonely, and exquisitely alive. Mentoring offers essential support here—helping you navigate the dark, fertile ground without rushing the process or losing your way.
Those who feel drawn to this work often sense it already:
a hunger to explore uncharted inner landscapes,
a longing to live in deeper conversation with life,
a quiet knowing that something sacred is asking for attention.
To enter this terrain is to encounter wonder again. To be surprised by yourself. To feel the electricity of discovery as forgotten parts return, and new ways of being take root. It is not an easy path—but it is a profoundly enlivening one.
If something in you recognizes this call, you are warmly invited to reach out for an initial mentoring session.
Land-Based Immersions — Seasonal Gatherings
Offered seasonally • Dates released throughout the year
These land-based immersions are seasonal gatherings held in relationship with the rhythms of nature. Each immersion offers a space to slow down, listen deeply, and engage with the inner and outer landscapes that shape our lives.
Across the year, four gatherings are offered—one in each season. Each is distinct, shaped by the land, the time of year, and the particular themes that are alive in the collective field.
These are not retreats in the conventional sense, but experiential spaces of inquiry, presence, and reconnection. We work with nature as teacher, mirror, and companion in the process of inner unfolding.
Details for each immersion are released as they are formed. If you feel drawn to this work, you are invited to express interest and receive updates as gatherings are scheduled.
