About me
I am a guide and mentor in depth-oriented soul discovery work. My role is not to direct or interpret another person’s journey, but to support a self-directed unfolding—one in which dreams, images, lived experience, and a willingness to “do the work” become the primary teachers.
In this work, transformation does not come from advice or technique. It arises through sustained attention, honest listening, and a relationship with what is already trying to emerge. As a guide, I offer presence, containment, and discernment in service of that process.
My grounding in this work comes first from being a participant myself. I entered this larger field—sometimes named eco-psychology, Jungian depth psychology, or soul initiation—through my own long descent into questions of belonging, purpose, and vocation. Several years into that journey, it became clear that I was being asked not only to walk this path, but to accompany others as they enter their own underworld terrain.
I have trained with Bill Plotkin and other guides at Animas Valley Institute, and I hold a master’s degree in leadership and spiritual formation. Additional voices that influence my work include Carl Jung, Joanna Macy, Thomas Berry, Rainer Rilke, David Whyte, James Hollis, James Hillman, Robert Johnson, Robert Bosnak, Gabrielle Roth, and my relationship to a local intentional community called Canticle Farm.
Alongside my guiding work, I am an artist. As a painter, I have learned to trust the creative flow. I seek authentic self-expression by allowing symbol, gesture, and intuition to speak where words fall short. Art, like dreams, has been one of my enduring teachers. I am also the co-founder of the Alameda Young Naturalist Club, a youth human development initiative rooted in relationship with the natural world.
I am most at home near the ocean, in forests, or on mountains, and I orient my work toward the more-than-human world as an essential partner in soul formation. I am nourished by art and poetry, sauna, gardening, time with family and friends, and by dreaming into a future where human culture and the living world exist in life-enhancing harmony.
As a mentor and guide, I am a deep listener. I trust the unfolding process. I support without judgment, and I hold the work with the aim that you come to hear—and learn to follow—your own true voice.
