We’re building something special, but it will take generations.

This human-induced polycrisis is unraveling Earth’s systems at an unnerving pace. Our disconnect from the animate world has never been more apparent. Humans are largely unable to cope with overwhelming emotions that come from knowing we are devastating the very ecosystems that make life possible on this planet.

The Dominator Culture has tipped its hand, revealing for all to see the greed that drives multinational corporations to extract and exploit our planet’s resources. In the coming decades, billions of human lives will be under threat of starvation because of the increasing climate catastrophe. Artificial Intelligence in the hands of for-profit corporations will neither provide equitable nor sufficient solutions; while placing hope in AI means permitting data centers to consume massive amounts of planetary resources. The future looks quite bleak.

But this is why we now need to turn our attention to the creation and preservation of soul-centric cultures in local communities around the world. This effort may be small, but its not insignificant. We have the opportunity to explore the potentials of human imagination and discover new possibilities for a future civilization deeply rooted in the land, resounding with soul, and sharing in Earth’s wisdom.

I have no great plan for how to bring this to pass. But I know it won’t happen if we don’t start coming together with an intention to process our pain in healthy ways, to seek guidance from our own intuition and the wisdom of Earth elders, and invite others to join us along the way. If you’d like to explore belonging to such an audacious effort, please reach out! We are taking steps to clear space and time in our lives to host community meals, build friendships, and grow in relationship with our ecosystem.
